Constructed as a portrait of Autumn (2011), Mute Fight's second release 'Sirens Sleep' moves further into experimental territory than previously. Here the tracks build on several layers of percussive samples combined with ethereal field recordings and scraps of manipulated vocals, all either recorded or programmed by Mute Fight. The result is introspective and organic sounding electronic music which borrows elements from dance, but ultimately remains hard to pin down.
